Earlier this week, I ordered a BUNCH of jean shorts from American Eagle to try my luck. Jean shorts are as tricky as swimsuits to me; finding the exact right kind that feel good, look good, and are the right price point can feel impossible. I’ve spent $$ on expensive ones only to be super disappointed. Not to mention that my weight fluctuates by 1-5 pounds every week and, because of my shorter frame, my pant size is a direct reflection of that week-to-week. It’s just… a shit show, to say the least. So I ordered all these shorts fully planning on more than half or maybe even all of them not working and, out of the 8 pairs I ordered, I loved 5. What the fuck.

Anyway, I made a fun try-on reel on Instagram spotlighting all the shorts but felt an accompanying blog post was in order so you guys can shop them if you see ones you love!
