10 Things I've Bought and Liked Lately

Not to take TIBAL’s namesake away, but this was truly the best way to label this incredibly random post full of 10 incredibly random recent purchases I wanted to share with you guys. It’s a smattering of things, but sometimes a smatter is better than a curation, am I right? Check them out below!

Claw clips are back (and so are every year of the 90s), but it’s taken me a second to find exactly what kind of claw clip works best for my hair and that would be the box or square claw clip. They hold SO much more, so they’re perfect for thick, textured, longer hair. I got these 3 from Etsy (each were $5) and am obsessed!

I just posted about this leather tote by ABLE on my stories today, but wanted to give it a space on my blog, too. It’s really such a gorgeous bag that holds all of the essentials. It has two front pockets as well as a small internal pocket for gum, lipstick, etc. You can also get it personalized with up to three letters, and I obviously chose LFG. If you’re in the market for a nice, new work bag for fall, I love the Selam tote.

Masks on. Wait, masks off? Fuck it—masks on cause I cannot deal with the back and forth. Y’all know I love my Cotopaxi masks, but I hate digging it in and out of my purse or bag throughout the day. I ordered this pack of 6 gold masks chains to add some style and ease to the mask look and am pumped to accessorize!

A follower wrote me about this dermatologist recommended face sponge to encourage a much more thorough wash. They come “regular,” “gentle,” and “extra gentle.” I made the mistake of getting the regular at first and it legit felt like sandpaper on my skin. So I returned them and got the “gentle” one! It’s made for sensitive, normal to dry skin, and I’m being religious about it to keep my skin smooth and fully cleansed!

I’ve been meaning to get a diffuser for a while now but just kept forgetting. I was in Target the other day, though, and saw this guy so I grabbed him and the lavender and bergamot accompanying diffuser oil. Let me tell you—this thing is amazing. It’s super affordable and really works. The lavender and bergamot is gorgeous and I let it run all day. It really does fill up my office space in the best way!

Bowie is a rambunctious little Bulldog. He needs constant entertainment at night so, instead of him attacking our feet and hands, Z got this treat toy for him and OMG? It’s a godsend. It keeps him entertained for HOURS while he works to eat/lick the treat out of there. Him and Cece take turns, too. It’s pretty sweet. Highly recommend this if you need to distract your dog in a positive way!

Ellen (my mom) had this color on her toes when I saw her last and I LOVED it. It looks so good! It’s the perfect light grey to transition from summer into fall, so I ran out and got myself a bottle. It’s Essie’s “Without a Stitch.”

Okay. Z and I are making some headway on the house, but I’m not ready to share things just yet. However, we ordered this set of orange-family candle sticks for something and are obsessed. They are so pretty and available in all color families! Love love loveeeeee.

We also got these gold knobs for something I’ve yet to reveal to you guys and they’re so perfect if you’re in need of a gold accent on some furniture!

According to my sources (Ellen and the runways and other websites), clogs are going to be BIG this fall. I’ve never been a clog girl, but Ellen got this pair from Target and I tried them on and really liked them. So, I got my own pair. They’re just $35, which is going to be a lot more affordable than the designer clogs that come out in the next few months or so. Grab a pair while they’re still avail!
