LTK Day 2021: What's In My Cart(s)

For the last three summers or so, the LIKEtoKNOW.it shopping app hosts the LTK Day wherein they partner with some of our favorite brands to offer exclusive, in-app only discounts so you shop and save on summertime fashion. Because transparency is the name of the game, I really only LOVE a few of the brands featured this year but I’m going to list them all out for you guys so you can see who’s included and what the discount is:

First thing’s first, you have to have the LIKEtoKNOW.it app downloaded and fired up in order to actually get the exclusive discount codes. So do that first. Once you’re good to go there, be sure you’re following me (because no one else matters). On my profile and within the app, any linked image that features a participating brand will have a red LTK Day tag on it. Click on the image, click on the product you’re interested in, and it will automatically prompt you to copy the exclusive code. Then click SHOP and remember to paste the copied discount code in the appropriate place on that retailer’s website. Confused? See below for screenshots walking you through it.

STEP 1: DOWNLOAD LTK APP

step 2: search my name and follow me

step 3: click on a collage, then a product. tap the red button to copy the code, tap shop now, and paste the code into the retailer's discount/promo code box!

Now we’re truly GOOD. TO. GO. Like I said, I’m only truly excited about a few participating brands: Abercrombie, Outdoor Voices, Madewell, and Armani (solely for the foundation). Therefore, I’m going to share my picks and what I either already own or is in my cart for future ownage starting with Abercrombie. Ready? OK! Let’s go shopping.

abercrombie

1 & 2: The Ribbed Tank Bodysuit and the Seamless Tank Bodysuit. As a general rule, I love Abercrombie’s bodysuits. They fit super well, are good quality, and are straightforward enough to be worn on their own throughout the summer with shorts, jeans, or skirts and transition right into fall, too! I take a medium in all Abercrombie bodysuits and legitimately own each of these styles in multiple colors.

3: Mid Rise Boyfriend Shorts. If you see the word “mid rise” and your butthole clenches, I get it. Mid rise is scary when we’ve been wearing high rise for years now, but hear me out: these shorts are amazing. They’re NOT low rise, they’re MID rise. They hit right below your bellow button and are incredibly flattering. I suggest going up a size so they have a bit looser, more casual fit but aren’t falling off your butt. I own these in two shades! If you need a non-high rise option, these are your shorts.

4: Tie-Strap Trapeze Midi Dress. I do not own this, but I want it. I have a thing for midi and maxi dresses this summer, and I love both the pattern and the tie-strap shoulders on this sweet Abercrombie dress. I’m picturing it with a simple pair of black slides, a red lip, and gold hoops. Cute, right?!

5: Utility Jumpsuit. I don’t follow The Sister Studio IG. I know she’s big on LTK, but a little secret about me is that I follow next to no bloggers. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Anyway, this is cute as fuck. I feel like it’ll be sold out before any of us can get to it, but we might as well try during the LTK Day event! I’m sure I’d take a medium in this. I just love the look and love that it can be worn this coming fall, too.

6: Smocked Squareneck Mini Dress. I love her. She is in my cart, and I can’t wait to introduce her to her new family in my closet. I love the simplicity of this mini dress and how it looks sweet, feminine, and easy to wear. Add to cart, bitch.

7: Puff Sleeve Cutout Linen Mini Dress. Are cutouts still in? I mean wearing bras as tops is in, so what’s the harm in a simple cutout? I love the silhouette of this little black dress from Abercrombie. The black appeals to me because it will hide how much I sweat during summer date nights while still looking very cute. Definitely gonna order in a medium!

8 & 9: Peach Print Bikini. I need another bikini like I need secret midnight snacks in bed, but I love this peach print so so much. I also LOVE the cut of the bottoms—they’re not high waist, but they’re high-leg and cheeky, which is arguably more flattering. I also love the underwire on the top. Correction, my titties love the underwire. It looks they don’t have a large top, though, so I guess I’ll just fuck myself. But get this suit.

10: Tie-Strap Tiered Mini Dress. Another simple LBD for summertime, and I love it. I don’t have anything like it and it’s simple, which is what summer style is for me—the simpler and lighter on my sweaty ass skin, the better!

11: Cropped and Ribbed Henley Tank. I own this in a few colors and I’m OBSESSED with it. It fits like a glove and is just the easiest tank to throw on when the temps are 90º+. I took a medium!

12: Men’s Short-Sleeve Button-Up Shirt. I got this for Z a month or so ago and was pleasantly surprised at how soft and cute it was in person! I love the print, too—feels so summertime without being in your face or frat-douchey (or, like, 40something divorcee douchey). It’s very cute, especially with the top button undone.

13: Men’s Abercrombie All Day Shorts. Also got these in the khaki and navy for Z, and DAMN are they good looking. They’re a little shorter with a 5” inseam, and Z is 6’3” and they still look great and hit at the right spot. Highly recommend getting them for your mans (or for your dad as a Father’s Day gift!).

OUTDOOR VOICES

1: The OV Exercise Dress. Now that I’ve tried Girlfriend’s version of an exercise dress, I can honestly say OV’s is superior. It’s not easy for me to write that—y’all know Girlfriend is my number 1 forever. But OV’s exercise dress is just perfect. I just treated myself to the white one, have the black one, and have no idea where my red one went. I take it in a medium, it has built-in shorts, and it’s up to you whether or not you wear a sports bra underneath. I don’t if I’m just wearing it to take a walk, but I do if I’m doing a legit workout at the gym. It’s just the best and makes you feel like a tennis mom in an unpretentious way.

2: The OV Skort. Same story here with Girlfriend vs. Outdoor Voices—OV just makes dresses and skorts better! I have a black one and am absolutely 100% buying a new color during LTK Day. I take a medium in this as well!

3: Rectrek Pant. Now, I do not own these nor have I ever tried them on, but I just FEEL LIKE they are great based on looks and description alone. I have a shitload of sweatpants (thanks, COVID), but barely any true casual athleisure pants and I think this could be a good place to start. They’re relaxed fit and cropped length, too. I’m guessing I’ll be a medium!

4: Men’s High Stride Pant. Zac has these and if you thought grey sweatpants were everything…. well. Just, get him a pair of these. Thank me later, post-coitus.

5: Ready Set Shortsleeve. Besides my beloved crop tees from Girlfriend, these are my second favorite straightforward workout tees. Nothing fancy. Lightweight. Good colors. Fit great. Love! I take them in medium.

6: The Doing Things hat. It’s iconic, and one of the greater fitness hats out there. Do things and get this hat.

7: Sunday 7” Short. Zac also got these for himself and please see my previous statement about grey sweatpants. These are… very nice.

madewell

1: Eyelet Lucie Smocked Mini Dress. I’m really trying to level up my mini dress game this summer because, like I said, I’m showing a little too much love to the midi and maxi. I’m a sucker for anything red, so was immediately drawn to this dress. I just love it!

2: White Denim Tie-Waist Button-Down Shirt Dress. That’s a mouthful, damn. I used to have a dress like this years ago and, well, I gained weight so I gave it away. But now I need another. So I will be getting this and cannot wait. By the time you’ve read this, I’ve probably already order it to be honest. Sorry, I couldn’t wait for you!

3: Whisper Cotton Crewneck Pocket Muscle Tank. I do not own one of these, but I want to. They look light as air (which is a necessity for summer), I love all the color options, and I think they’d be very cute with shorts and sandals. Plus, you can 3 for $45 but less than that cause of LTK Day!

4: Softfade Cotton Oversized Pocket Tee. Oversized tees are a religion. Do you believe in them? Do you pray to them? Then you should get one of these.d

5: Linen-Blend Allie Mini Dress in Gingham Check. I was so against gingham coming back in style for so long, but I’m giving in now. It’s cute, okay? There. I said it. I love this gingham mini dress so much and would like one. It’s as simple as that.

6: Striped Cap-Sleeve Wrap Dress. Wrap dresses are flattering on everyone, but especially those of us who tend to hold more weight in our stomachs and need evidence that there is a waist under there somewhere. I love the stripes and style of this Madewell dress. I’m picturing it with brown slides and that cute Target clutch for summer date night!

7: Linen-Blend Huston Pull-On Crop Pants. Suddenly I’m on this random search for the perfect cropped linen pants? I know how wrinkly linen gets and how it will show my crotch sweat in the wrong situation, but I want them and I’ll just wear them inside, ya know? With a bodysuit? Or white tee or tank? GET OUT OF HERE. Wait, come back. I’m not done.

8: Delicate Collection Demi-Fine White Topaz Threader Earrings. I LOVE that these loop through your ears the way they do. You need to take a second to look at the model in them. Ugh, this style is just so good. Love love love.

9: Relaxed Denim Shorts. Can you see a trend here? I just want RELAXED shorts for summer. I don’t want them up my ass or suffocating my vagina. I don’t even necessarily want them to be uber high-waisted. I just want comfortable motherfucking jean shorts. Oh my god… Am I old? HELP. Anyway, I want these.

10: Kickoff Trainer Shoes. I’ve had these for a year and love them very much. They have a bit of height to them and are heavier, so I wouldn’t really call them a running or workout shoe unless you’re doing some weight lifting. They’re more of a cool fashion sneaker, for sure and they come in so many different patterns!

Holy shit, y’all. We did it. We got through LTK Day recos from Emma. Do you need a drink, cause I do. But seriously, take advantage of this weekend sale while you can via the LTK app and let me know what you bought and if you love it or hate it. No offense taken here. I’m a tough bitch.

Happy shopping!
