16 Gift Ideas For Fitness Fanatics
Welcome to 6 days of gift guides. Starting Friday, November 20 to Wednesday, November 25, I will be dropping a new gift guide. They’ll cover everything from the little things to the big things and everything in between. Please remember that just because these guides are labeled doesn’t mean they’re ONLY for that particular person in your life. These guides do not discriminate. They are non-binary. Anything you see across these six guides can be gifted to your mom, dad, sister, friend, boyfriend, fiance, aunt, uncle, mother-in-law, father-in-law—the list goes on. Take the labels with a grain of salt, and buy what feels right for the right person!
I’ve had my FitBit Versa for years now and love it. It does everything a fitness watch should do, i.e. track your activity, sleep, steps, floors, weight, exercise, and so much more. It’s a much more affordable option than the Apple Watch if you’re not looking to drop $400+ on a smartwatch! The FitBit Versa 3 was just introduced as well as a brand new watch called Sense, and either one would be an amazing gift for your fit or trying-to-get-fit friend or family member this Christmas.
Allow me to push this FUCCI band I got for my FitBit Versa once again. I will forever love the green and red vintage Gucci print, so this was a no-brainer for me and maybe you know someone with a Versa who also needs it?
Although I just said I love my FitBit, if you DO want to splurge, why not go for the Apple Watch? To be honest, it’s on MY personal wish list. Like, if someone were to get it for me, I wouldn’t be upset. If you are looking for a really nice gift for someone this holiday season and you know they’re an Apple fan who has yet to complete their obsession with the watch, why not?
For your hardcore friends who are in need of a jump rope, I’ve ordered twice from from Double Under Wonder and love them so much! You can decide on the handle and rope colors, and you input your height so it’s the exact length needed. It even comes in a handy pouch they can throw in their gym bag with ease! Love this small business.
For running/walking shoes, I swear by my Brooks. Sure, they’re not all hip and cool like Nike and adidas, but they’re actually supportive and insanely comfortable. Plus, they do have some fun colors if you look hard enough. I never have shin or leg issues when I wear these to walk Cece or do a light jog, and they run true to size!
Know someone who’s looking to get serious about their water intake? Instead of having to refill their 16 or 24 ounce water bottle all the time, consider gifting them this HALF GALLON water jug. I bought one for myself this summer and, on the days I remember to fill it to the top, it’s such a great feeling to finish it all throughout the day. It’s super sturdy and has a built-in handle, plus a detachable strap if you want to bring it on walks or hikes! Love this thing.
APL (Athletic Profusion Labs) is a smaller, boutique shoe company that specializes in running shoes, but also carries shoes made specifically for weight training. I love my APL trainers so much. The higher ankle helps protect against any ankle rolling and creates a much safer, supportive environment for your feet while you crush life. Just be sure to order a 1/2 size up for the lucky recipient as they run a bit small!
I shared this and the below FitBit band on my 50 gifts under $50 guide, but feel so strongly about them, I decided to double up on the fitness guide, too! Whyyy does Society6 have the greatest stuff?! This Apple Watch band is one of so many; I just love the color scheme of it so much. It’s neutral while standing out. In fact, this particular artist on Society6 has a lot of great stuff. Man!
Like you’re surprised. A pair of these leggings is a gift any day of the year, but perfect for Christmas. Don’t mess with the leggings with pockets—Girlfriend is self-admittedly redesigning them because there’s too much material there. Just stick with the high-rise compressive legging, and be sure to click the 23 3/4” inseam option if you’re wanting more of an ankle fit (or your recipient is short).
This is definitely my favorite sports bra option from Girlfriend. It’s more of a full coverage sports bra nearing a crop top than a true sports bra, which is my idea of perfection. Get one in the same color as their leggings and gift it as a set to a lucky someone! Even if they only wear it to lounge in, it’s still a killer athleisure look.
Girlfriend: Long Sleeve T-Shirt
The perfect long sleeve t-shirt for working out in colder months is underrated. These by Girlfriend are exactly right. They have a bit of a crop, are super comfortable, and wash up so nicely. They can also be worn with regular civilian outfits, so it’s like two gifts in one!
Girlfriend: Short Sleeve T-Shirt
Just like their longer sister, these Girlfriend shirts are perfect. I almost exclusively wear them to workout in and wish I had one in every color. Some day I will, but until then, pass on the Girlfriend love to someone else this holiday season!
The best piece of fitness equipment out there, IMO. Not all shorts and pants come with pockets, and this belt bag from lululemon is the perfect size for your active friend or family member to store their phone, house key, chapstick, and headphones in! It also comes in so many fun colors, so you can choose the one that best represents their style.
Someone on your list has to have expressed interest in receiving an Outdoor Voices exercise dress. It’s the best because it comes with built-in shorts, so there is no thigh chafing or accidental flashing that occurs. You can wear a bra with it for extra support or not if you’re doing a low intensity workout. It’s a fantastic gift to give!
I literally can’t believe I’m suggesting this because I’m so true to Girlfriend, but I’d be lying if I said I don’t love these Free People leggings. They get rave reviews, and I love the ribbed detailing on the waistband. I can only imagine it’s super flattering. Plus, they come IN LITERALLY EVERY COLOR UNDER THE SUN?! This is truly the perfect fitness gift, in my humble opinion.
Don’t stop there, though. Make it a matching set with its matching top! Who doesn’t love a matching set moment?!?!!!
