Into It

M y new at-home desk chair. You guys. It's perfect. I first saw it via my friend's blog and fell in love hard and fast (as per usual). However, because of its crazy-high demand, the price skyrocketed to something ludicrous like $999, so I held out. And waited. And stalked. And said prayers to the Lord of Light. He heard me and suddenly this fantastic chair was back down to $95, so I went for it and boy, am I glad I did! It arrived completely intact and totally unscathed, was super simple to put together, and believe me when I tell you that it's SO. MOTHER. FUGGIN. COMFORTABLE. I never sit at my desk, and now it's all I want to do (specifically in these pajamas that I haven't been able to take off because I'm obsessed). I even made a pact with myself that this beautiful, perfect, innocent chair will never become "The Chair" (you know — the one that holds everything that's too clean for the laundry but too dirty for your closet). This beauty has incredible back support, the seat is as plush as you'd imagine, and it's just the best. If you're in the market for a fantastic chair, this is it. Trust me.

Season 2 of "Insecure." Y'all. Do you watch it? If not, why not? If so, fuck yeah. Either way, OMG. Hotation, Daniel, Lawrence (who, by the way, may have gotten way hotter but his sexcapades are really upsetting me), Molly and Dro. It's such a phenomenal show, and Issa is almost too adorable and pretty to handle.

Bath and Body Works new Essential Oil candles. Look, fragrance is a very personal thing. I get it. So these may not at all appeal to you. I just know that they appealed to me — a lot. I grabbed a Chamomile and Eucalyptus, but let your nostrils guide you.

(still) being apart of the WINC wine club. I've written about it before, but after skipping the month of July, I realized how much I need it and miss it. Sure, you can go to the store and grab a bottle of wine just as easily. But every single wine I've ever tried from WINC has been extremely tasty, and there's just something so hip about getting a box of wine delivered to your home or office. It's like yeah, I drink wine. I'm sophisticated AF and definitely DON'T have 6 glasses in a night and get Taco Bell afterwards (this might've happened last weekend). I urge you try it out especially since you can cancel so easily, anytime. Just say "I'm poor and not enough of an a borderline alkie to get this every month, but thanks anyway."

M y new Nikes. Believe me when I tell you these are the most comfortable shoe I have ever put on my foot. Bar none. Plus, THEY'RE COOL AS HELL. Just look at them! My basic bitch Adidas were getting super junked up, so my choices were buy a replacement pair or get these, and I'm so glad I did the latter. I am in love and you will be, too if you get them. Side note: I saw Urban's supply is low, so if you can't get your size there, try Amazon.

This solid instrumental playlist for those rare moments of focus during the day. I was on jazz stations and classical stations for a long time, but this "Gold Instrumental Beats" station on Spotify combined my love of rap/hip-hop with the absence of lyrics because lyrics are a focus-killer for me. Give it a go and try not to bob your head along to each track.
