Valentine's For Everyone
In general, Valentine’s Day is dumb. I am subscribed to the idea of it being a Hallmark holiday that really just ends up making single people or people in shitty relationships feel shitty about their current status. The only time Valentine’s Day was worth a damn was when you were in elementary school and gave Valentine cards to every single one of your classmates. That was cute as hell. Otherwise, I’ve spent most Valentine’s Day feeling exactly like Pam in season 2, episode 16.
All that to say, I get why people recognize it. If nothing else, it’s something to do. And it’s about love and chocolate and pretty and cute things, so why not lean in even if you’re leaning into yourself? Whether you’re making yourself, your friends, or someone special feel extra loved this Valentine’s Day, I curated some solid gift ideas that transcend age and gender depending on how you look at them!
Small Packages
The best company ever is offering two different Valentine’s-themed curated boxes. One is a true Valentine’s box that includes your partner. The other is a Galentine’s box. Both are offered at different price points with more or less products depending on how much you spend ($30, $50, or $100), and both are amazing. PLUS you can get 10% off any of them with code EMMALOVE. Julie sent me the Valentine’s one, and I opened it last night, ooh’ing and ahh’ing the entire time. These curated boxes are always so gorgeous and so thoughtful, and they have a ton of new themes including birthdays!

Okay, but actually. I don’t know much about sexy undergarments, but I do know that Bare Necessities has some saucy options. I don’t know what got into me this year, but I decided to get something for Z to gawk at and immediately take off of me because we all know that’s how it goes. Truth be told, lingerie is a waste of money but IT’S FUN. If you spend $70, you get free 2-day shipping so it’ll be here in time. Something to think about.
However, if lingerie isn’t your thing, may I suggest investing in yourself with some Parade underwear? I posted about them this week and am truly obsessing. They’re so inexpensive, so fun, and so flattering. I love the boy shorts the most and their thongs are incredible, too. Click this link to get a FREE pair and then scope out all their others. They even have astrology packs? And Valentine’s-themed sets?! I’M FUCKING OBSESSED, GUYS.
And speaking of guys, all I’m saying is these are hot. Tempted to get Z one of each. Also, I DID get him these joggers off Amazon a few weeks ago and they are VERY ATTRACTIVE.
Candle and USB lighter
Not just any candle, though. A Boy Smells candle because they truly smell incredible. I’ve been burning the Rhubarb Smoke for a few weeks and have to temper how often I do so it doesn’t burn down too fast. Also, this USB lighter is so great and really fun to use.
Sweets, Obviously
You have many options here. If you want to do something homemade, may I suggest one of the following? The literal best and most perfect brownies ever created, delicious oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, or the happiest confetti cookies ever. Really, anything on my dessert page will work. If store bought is more your speed and you’re local to Dallas, order Emporium Pies’ Valenpies TODAY. For the candy lovers, Dylan’s Candy Bar has these tackle boxes that are SO LEGIT. I’m partial to sour candy, so their sour candy tackle box is a dream, but check them all out!
Dried Flowers
No, really. I sent some to my sister the other week, and not only were they incredibly gorgeous, but they last! For, like, ever! She has them on display on the front console and they’ll stay there for a long time. HIGHLY recommend Urban Stems for this.
Jewels
Treat yourself, honey. Or tell your lover to get on it. The nicest jewelry I own is from Ring Concierge, and they’re having an unheard of sale on their fine jewelry starting tomorrow. It’s 15% off anything under $850 and 20% off anything over $850. If you’ve been pining after some gold and diamonds, I’M JUST SAYING. Hand-wise, I have the Herringbone bracelet (a gift to myself for quitting my job), and the skinny rope eternity ring (Christmas present from my mama)! I also have the mini emerald studs and the 2mm gold hoops. Wow, I have a lot from them. IT’S GOOD STUFF, WHAT CAN I SAY?
Bathtime BB
Maybe you or someone you know or your lover deserves a luxurious bath night. My suggestion? Gift them (or yourself) a bath tray, some bubbles, my favorite face mask (with a face mask application brush), a great book, and a fun glass to drink their wine out of (that you will also provide).
Socks!
But specifically Le Bon Shoppe socks. The boyfriend socks are amazing. So are the girlfriend. So are all of them. Any foot is blessed to wear these.
Sick Beats
This mini Bose bluetooth speaker was a huge hit this Christmas, and I can’t recommend it enough. It has amazing sound quality. and travels so well, even if it’s just on a bike ride.
Nails and Lips
You know what I’m going to suggest. DAZZLE DRY, DUH! My favorite color is Lit. It’s a true red. But listen to me—you have to get the full kit because that’s what makes it a long-lasting amazing polish. Don’t skimp here. If you’re feeling extra saucy and want to dip your toe into the red lipstick pool, start with Jungle Red by NARS. It’s also a perfect and true red. I LOVE RED.
Vibez
There is a shop here in Dallas called Go Easy that’s all about self care, down to gorgeous smoking accessories to sexual wellness products. Check them out (they ship)!
Surely you can find someone something from this list, right? If not, you or them may have really bad taste. Or maybe I do. Either way, HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY BABIES!
xx,
