50 Gifts Under $50

Welcome to 6 days of gift guides. Starting Friday, November 20 to Wednesday, November 25, I will be dropping a new gift guide. They’ll cover everything from the little things to the big things and everything in between. Please remember that just because these guides are labeled doesn’t mean they’re ONLY for that particular person in your life. These guides do not discriminate. They are non-binary. Anything you see across these six guides can be gifted to your mom, dad, sister, friend, boyfriend, fiance, aunt, uncle, mother-in-law, father-in-law—the list goes on. Take the labels with a grain of salt, and buy what feels right for the right person!

All that said, let’s get started with this year’s first gift guide:

50 gifts all under $50!

  1. Small Packages

When in doubt and overwhelmed with gifting options, send them a Small Package for $35 or $50. This company is female owned, operates out of Philadelphia, and curates the most thoughtful, fun gift packages for literally every kind of occasion (birthday, celebration, new baby, job loss, job promotion, etc.) and even have a special, limited-time holiday one! Use code HOLIDAY21 from 11/24-11/30 for 20% off the Holiday box and the Women in Food box.

  2. Microfiber headbands

I have these and LOVE THEM. I used random headbands for nighttime washup for a long time, but saw some influencer wearing a cute microfiber situation for washing up at night and had to get some.

  3. Dead sea mud mask + mask brush

I am obsessed with this mud mask. It smells like heaven and feels so luxurious—like a true self care treatment. I use it once a week! Add a mask brush with it to make it a full gift!

  4. Bamboo bath tray

Encourage self care by gifting them this super useful (and pretty) bath tray. I’ve had mine for a year now and still love it. It holds a glass of wine, a small candle, has a stand for your book or e-reader—it’s perfect! Throw in a bottle of these bath bubbles with it, too! They’re the best and smell so heavenly.

  5. Laptop camera cover

These are easy, inexpensive stocking stuffers for the whole family! They’re always spying on us (they are the gov’t), and this little camera cover helps to taper it a bit (maybe. I’m not sure).

  6. Makeup brush cleaning mats + eyeshadow brush cleaner thing (amazon)

For the beauty queens in your life, this cleaning mat and sponge-in-a-tin are lifesavers in terms of keeping their brushes (and subsequently, their skin) clean! It would be a cute gift packaged together, IMO.

  7. Pretty Pill Box

This gift is a bit more specific, LOL. If you have someone in your life who takes medication or tons of vitamins, this pretty pill box from Amazon is a great stocking stuffer. I have one, and it’s made taking my daily dose of vitamins and happy meds much more enjoyable. Also, super easy and non-conspicuous to pack!

  8. Dog waist leash

Give someone the gift of hands-free dog walking. It’s absolutely game changing! Plus, this waist leash comes with a built-in fanny pack so they store their phone, keys, poop bags, and more!

  9. Necessaire Body Wash and Lotion Set

This is a STELLAR deal and may be the easiest, nicest thing to get everyone on your list! Each scent is better than the last. I’ve personally tried Sandalwood and Eucalyptus and both are LUXURIOUS body washes! And the body lotion works for anyone—man or woman, sensitive skin or not—because it’s fragrance-free and the perfect weight. Not greasy but heavy enough to do its job in the way of moisturizing.

  10. Dazzle Dry mini kit

Dazzle Dry is the polish MiniLuxe uses and calls their “Performance Polish.” It’s the only kind of manicure I was getting pre-COVID because it goes on like a regular manicure (no gel or dip for this gal), but stays in place with no chips for 5+ days if you follow their 4-step system. Also, it comes off with regular remover! This is a legit stocking stuffer.

  11. Society6 Apple Watch band

Whyyy does Society6 have the greatest stuff?! This Apple Watch band is one of so many; I just love the color scheme of it so much. It’s neutral while making a statement. In fact, this particular artist on Society6 has a lot of great stuff. Man!

  12. Large Fanny Pack

My sister let me wear hers in Chicago, and I loved it. It’s super sturdy and very comfortable. Plus, the way it sits low on the waist takes total pressure off your back and you forget it’s even there! There are several color options, so be sure to check them all out.

  13. Target sweat set

I have two of these sweat sets because I’m terrified I’ll wear one out and not have a back up. It’s the perfect, cutest, coziest sweat set to gift someone this season.

  14. Smoked Tonka candle

THE ORIGINAL. Ugh! This candle, guys. This candle can do no wrong, and it pleases everyone it meets. Just read the fragrance notes and tell me you aren’t intrigued: green, spice, cardamom, nutmeg, dark coffee, oriental amber, smoked woods, patchouli, olibanum, coumarin, vanilla bourbon, vetiver, black tar complex, leather, cashmere. Get one for every single person you have no idea what to get. I promise it’ll be a hit!

  15. Laptop sleeve and built-in stand

This laptop sleeve is chic and doesn’t take up much room. It also doubles as a laptop stand, so it’s perfect for your friend or family member who’s a boss and always on-the-move with their computer.

  16. YETI Coffee Mug

The perfect gift for any man in your life who is hard to buy for, especially a father-in-law. Who doesn’t love a YETI and who doesn’t love coffee that stays hot for hours on end? That’s what I thought.

  17. Furry Anthro slippers

These adorable ass slippers from Anthro look so insanely comfortable. Plus, their color options ARE SO GOOD. Pink?! Yellow?! GREEN LEOPARD?! K. *Adds to cart*

  18. Oversized Fringe Scarf

If you’re like me or know someone like me who has gone down the “bum chic” road of fashion in 2020, may I suggest gifting them this large fringe scarf? It comes in so many good colors and looks great with just about anything, whether it’s a full outfit with jeans and such or sweatpants and a flannel.

  19. Bits and Bobs Travel Pouch

I’m big on bags within bags, so having a lot of mini bags within my purse is a dream. I love this catchall pouch from Anthro. Every color and phrase is cute, but I have to admit I’m partial to the red “Bits and Bobs” and the yellow “Just The Little Things.” It’s perfect as a travel jewelry case, for loose ear buds, and even has a strap inside to hold things in place!

  20. Holiday Earrings from Bauble Bar

I didn’t order a pair of Bauble Bar’s incredibly festive earrings last year in time for the holidays, and I WON’T MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN. There are too many good ones to choose from; you can’t go wrong no matter your bauble choice!

  21. FitBit Versa Gucci band

Allow me to push this FUCCI band I got for my FitBit Versa. I will forever love the green and red vintage Gucci print, so this was a no-brainer for me and maybe you know someone with a Versa who also needs it?

  22. Foxtrot Market Gift Sets

Another amazing option for those you don’t know well or aren’t close with? Foxtrot gift boxes. Who doesn’t want a box of Pinot Noir two ways or a curated set of champagne, chocolate covered caramels, a candle, and a box of matches?! These are just some of their food/wine gifting items.

  23. Boobie Planter

I have a thing for boob decor. Not sure what that means, but not gonna waste time analyzing it. This mini boobie planter is SO CUTE and perfect for your funny friend or family member with boho style.

  24. Climate Change puzzle

Puzzles had their time in the spotlight this year, and it’s not stopping. For your puzzle obsessed friends or family members who also happen to believe in science and climate change, this is the perfect gift.

  25. $40 Earbuds

If AirPods are out of the budget this year, these $40 bluetooth earbuds are the next best thing. I got them for my boyfriend a few months ago and, as someone who complains about “earbuds just not fitting” in his ear, he LOVES these! The sound quality is amazing, too. I tested them myself. A very, very clutch (and affordable) gift.

  26. A Countertop Vanity Mirror

I gifted one of these to my best friend a few years back, and she still uses it every day and loves it. It’s truly game changing in terms of putting on your makeup exactly right and feeling gorgeous while doing it, but it also makes it real easy to dig into all your blackheads and blemishes so… buyer beware?

  27. Ban.do Mask Chain

This mask chain/lanyard is so happy. I love it. Also can be used as a sunglasses lanyard post-COVID!

  28. Madewell gold mask lanyard

Never did I think I would be on the lookout for stylish face masks lanyards, BUT HERE WE ARE. I am obsessed with this chic ass gold one as well. So good.

  29. Furry Robe

2020: The year of elevating your leisurewear game. I might have to get this robe for myself. Anything Honeydew makes is butter soft and so comfortable, and this robe looks no different. I love that it’s short and hooded, too.

  30. Ban.do How Are You Feeling planner

Love the message. Love the design. Love that this is a true wellness planner to encourage checking in with yourself day after day. Give this to a Pisces or Cancer.

  31. Smart Ass board game

THIS GAME IS SO FUN. My boyfriend heard good things about it, so we bought it and played together and had a blast. Can’t imagine how fun it would be with more than two people in a post-COVID world. One day we’ll know. One day.

  32. Love is Real keychain

My sister gave me this last year and it’s still on my keychain. It’s corny, but I love the message so much. I found myself looking at it often on bad days and still do!

  33. Happy Travel Mug

I am obsessed with all things sprinkles, confetti, and speckles so this mug had my heart immediately. Such an easy gift to give, and a fun/cute one at that!

  34. Mini hairdryer/diffuser for travel

This is such a clutch gift for the jet setter in your life. Help them consolidate their carry-on with this mini blow dryer with both a mini diffuser and mini concentrator!

  35. Ban.do rainbow charger

OBSESSED! Charging is the worst, so make it happier by gifting this guy. AND! It’s 5 feet long, so they can charge and text from bed. A dream.

  36. Madewell leather card holder

I have this to hold my license, credit card, debit card, healthcare card, and some cash (if I ever have any, which I don’t). It’s sleek, thin, and functional (like me! JK).

  37. Criss-Cross Slippers

Such a solid gift for moms-in-law or a female you are not close to but need to give a gift. Who can argue with walking on fluffy clouds? I’ll tell you who—no one.

  38. Ban.do glitter tumbler set

Is it okay to be obsessed with glitter things at 33? Don’t answer that. These tumblers are so happy and fun. Whether they’re used for water, wine, or a different drink of choice, how can you not have fun drinking out of them?!

  39. Wine vacuum and stoppers

This is on my gift guide every year because it’s such a no-brainer! Have winos in your life? GET THEM THIS. Even if they already have one, they need another. Trust me.

  40. Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lip set

If someone you know is dipping their toe in the lipstick pool, Pillow Talk by Charlotte Tilbury is the perfect pinky neutral to get them started. This kit comes with the lipstick, lip gloss, lip liner, and lip bath so they can experiment and learn exactly how they want to wear lipstick!

  41. Lou Whistle candy

I got some of this in a Small Package delivery (yes, the same!) and OH MY GOD. IT’S SO GOOD. I don’t think I’ve ever shared food or candy on a gift guide, but this stuff is so amazing, I had to. It’s molasses and pecans wrapped in chocolate, from Oregon, owned by a woman, and SO. DAMN. GOOD.

  42. Mini Olaplex set

People get scared to try expensive beauty trends, which I think we can all understand. If you know someone who’s been flirting with the Olaplex trend but hasn’t pulled the trigger, gift them this starter kit! I now swear by the No. 3 for what it’s worth.

  43. Nordstrom blanket

This blanket is truly the gift that keeps on giving. My best friend gifted it to me for Christmas two years ago, and Nordstrom brings it back every year because it’s perfect! It comes in so many colors, so finding the shade that fits your recipient’s decor is easy.

  44. Ban.do glass water bottle

For the fancy person in your life who is either always drinking water or is trying to always be drinking water, this glass water bottle is gorgeous. It looks like a damn decor piece, but it isn’t.

  45. Madewell socks

I am newly obsessed with ankle/anklet socks; I absolutely love the look of them with Birkenstocks and sneakers. These pairs from Madewell are so damn cute! In fact, I bought the flecked ones as I wrote this guide, and the leopard are in my basket as we speak. I love socks!!!

  46. Amazon ankle socks

And speaking of socks, I also got this set from Amazon which are the best fall/winter colors ever and another fantastic gift idea.

  47. Back of Phone Card Holder

I’m all for carrying your card ON your phone. Whether that’s via a case that holds your credit card in the back or a colorful stick on like this cute thing from Madewell, it’s very very handy and convenient. Also, amazing stocking stuffer!

  48. Laura Mercier eyeshadow stick

Another ideal stocking stuffer. I have this in the Moonlight shade and the shimmery gold can be as subtle or bold as you want to make it!

  49. The greatest dog bed ever

Your dog needs a stellar present this year for having to put up with your shit day in and day out all of 2020, so give them the gift of sleeping on a fluffy cloud. If Cece could write a testimonial, she would say: “I’ve hated every dog bed this bitch has brought home. Literally all of them. I’ve torn them all up just to show her to never fuck with me. But this bed? This bed changed everything. I sleep in it from 9-6 every day while this bitch works to put food in my bowl.”

  50. Herringbone chain necklace

The real deal can be expensive, so this gold-plated option is perfection. The Herringbone necklace is trendy yet classic at the same time, and this guy comes with a 3” extender in case your recipient wants to wear it longer!
