Fresh Tuna Salad With Avocado

Tuna salad is almost never not great. I found this super quick, really fresh recipe the other week and whipped it up for lunch. I love subbing the avocado for mayo — way healthier and way tastier.

Avocado Tuna Salad by Gimme Delicious

Serves 2

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 (5 oz) can tuna packed in water or oil drained

  • 1 ripe avocado roughly chopped

  • 1/2 cup cucumber chopped

  • 1/4 cup minced celery

  • 1/4 cup minced red or green onion

  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro or parsley

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice

  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

  • Freshly ground black pepper

DIRECTIONS:

Mix and mash it all up and serve it as a sandwich, with crackers, on a bed of lettuce. Whatever suits your tuna fancy!
