2022 Fitness Gift Guide
You knew Girlfriend was going to have a strong presence on the fitness gift guide! Both the Dylan bra and the Paloma bra are longline bras and my favorite high impact sports bras. If they’re getting into their fitness game and in need of a highly supportive bra that keeps the girls in place while they run, ride, row, lift, etc, gifting them one of these is clutch. The Dylan has a high neck, so it’s the MOST supportive, whereas the Paloma has more a scoop neck but hardly. You can’t go wrong with either!
Of course, if you want to go that extra mile and complete the set, grab them a pair of Girlfriend’s famous compressive high-rise leggings in the matching color! I always get the 23 3/4” inseam so they hit like a 7/8” legging.
On the flip side, if you want to get them a cute workout set but are looking for a more budget-friendly option, consider JoyLab’s high-rise, ribbed, seamless leggings. They naturally hit at the ankle, go up REALLY high, and are extremely flattering on!
JoyLab at Target Low Impact Sports Bra
And you have to get them the matching bra, duh! These bras are low impact and perfect for lifts, a casual walk, or just wearing around to run errands. I have three and absolutely love them—they’re so comfortable and very flattering on the chest.
These are the only running shoes I own and will walk/jog in anymore. I’m on my second pair and have never worn a more supportive, light, comfortable athletic shoe ever. If someone on your list is in need of an upgrade, the HOKA Clifton 8 running shoe is a thoughtful and useful gift to give. Plus, there are endless color ways to choose from!
Now, if they’re big into lifting, some NOBULL mid-height trainers could be the perfect gift. These have amazing ankle support for leg days, and LOOK exceptionally cool. They’re available in a bunch of colors; I just shared the ones I got and have and get compliments on any time I wear them!
These are definitely a stocking stuffer or extra throw-in. I got this 10 pack and really like these headbands. They’re simple but colorful, and truly do not slip off your head!
Another clever throw-in is this set of resistance bands! I’ve had mine forever and love them. They’re are five resistance levels: x-light, light, medium, heavy, x-heavy. They even come with a little bag so they’re easy to find and stay put in a gym bag.
I have the SE and it’s perfect for me. I opted to not get anything more because I didn’t feel the need to know my wrist temperature measurements, blood oxygen saturation readings, or have the ability to take an electrocardiogram, ya know? The SE is so much less money and does all of the things you need it to: track fitness/steps/heart rate/sleep, call and text, connect to all your apps like email and calendar. It’s a wonderful gift to give someone who has been in the market for a fitness watch but isn’t into all the big bells and whistles!
A lot of us got used to working out at home since 2020, and it made me realize we have no designated workout towels. I was tired of using our bathroom towels to wipe my sweaty ass face, so I got this pack and they’re great! They’re microfiber so they absorb a lot, dry fast, and are super easy to throw in the wash. Definitely recommend as part of a fitness-themed gift!
I have this in white and black, and I’d like all the other colors, too. If their style is cropped everything for the gym, one of these tees is an awesome, thoughtful, useful gift to give!
lululemon Lightweight Hiking Jacket
I love this jacket because it’s lightweight while still being insulated AND it’s water-resistant. It’s the perfect all-the-time jacket that they can comfortable wear on rainy days or brisk days whether they’re getting in their daily walk, have a big day of running errands planned, and are legitimately going on a hike! It’s a great adventure jacket.
If they’re the type who works out over their lunch break, these big ass, biodegradable body wipes infused with aloe vera, tea tree oil, and chamomile are PERFECT to keep in their gym bag. No need to rinse, no need to shower; they can just use one of these all over for some much-needed freshness until they can get home and get thoroughly cleaned up.
HOW FUN ARE THESE? This 3-pack of ankle socks are perfect for the funky gym-goer who likes to throw some personality into it. I love the bright colors as much as I love the neutral ones—you really can’t go wrong with either.
