2022 Tech & Travel Gift Guide

BOSE Noise Cancelling Headphones

I love my AirPods as much as the next person, but there is definitely a time and place for them versus for noise cancelling headphones (i.e. on a plane, at work, in a loud coffee shop, etc). I haven’t had over-the-ear headphones in a while and, right before our honeymoon, I decided I absolutely needed some for our super long overseas flights. I did a little research and ended up getting these Bose ones. They are fantastic. Not only are they super chic (I got the silver), but the noise cancellation is legit, you can control play/pause by tapping them just like AirPods, and the charge lasts forever. They’re a great gift for someone who needs them!

Portable Charger

This is a great gift for that one friend or family member whose phone is always dying or dead. It’s also an amazing gift for jet setters. This portable charger is heavy-duty and holds a serious charge. We took it to Italy and our phones never died once. It’s a fantastic stocking stuffer—just slide it on in there! (that’s what she said)

Carrying Case for Cords

Say that three times fast. This was maybe one of my best buys of 2022. I used to be that person who would just wrap cords up lazily and throw them in my luggage, but not anymore. I kept all of my cords, my AirPods and more totally organized in this thing throughout our entire honeymoon and it was CLUTCH. Get this for the one in your life who has 10000 cords.

CALPAK Luka Duffel

I mean. Obviously this is on here. I’ve had this duffel for a year now, and I have used it every.single.time I’ve traveled within my year of owning it. And before you ask—YES, it fits underneath the seat! If it didn’t, I wouldn’t have purchased it. The Luka Duffel holds a ton, fits perfectly over your roller case handle, and looks chic as hell. 100/10 recommend this, and you should absolutely put it on YOUR wishlist if you haven’t already.

AWAY Roller Bag

I love my CALPAK carry-on roller, but have never been more tempted to upgrade to this AWAY bag. I don’t know how long this red + pink combo is gonna be around, so I feel strongly SOMEONE needs to jump on it ASAP. Gift this to yourself or give it to the cutest, hippest jet setter you know!

Apple AirTag

These things are lifesavers in terms of keeping track of your luggage when you travel. We used one in our big bag during the honeymoon, and although it does take a second to update once you land, it was such a relief to know whether or not our bag made it to the next destination with us. People use these for keys, wallets, purses, and more so they make incredible stocking stuffers for that friend or family member who is constantly losing, well, everything.

Oral-B iO Electric Toothbrush

I’ve exclusively brushed my teeth with electric toothbrushes since my parents deemed us old enough to use one, so it blows my mind when someone doesn’t use one. If you’re the same way OR if you know someone who needs an upgrade, I was sent the Oral-B iO toothbrush and LOVE IT. It’s their series 9 and has 7 smart modes depending on what you need that day: daily clean, whitening, gum care, sensitive, intense, super sensitive, and tongue clean. It also has a timer and an interactive smiley display that literally puppy-dog eyes you or star-eyes you depending on how long and well you brushed. It find it hilarious and helpful, and the round brush cleans my teeth so much better. 100/10 recommend!

Travel Pillow

I’ve never liked any neck pillow I’ve gotten for travel until this one. The BCOZZY neck pillow is ergonomically designed so you can position it in front of your chin, to the side, or a front+side combo. Since my head usually falls to the side when I fall asleep on planes, this came in so clutch and truly made my airplane naps comfortable. They come in kid sizes as well as two adult sizes and are such an upgrade from your typical neck pillow!

Travel Laundry Bag

I would definitely use this an addition to a travel-themed present. This laundry bag was a lifesaver in Italy and held so much stuff until we got home. It’s super compact, too!

Clear Accessory Bags

Being able to actually see every toiletry you packed is extremely helpful when you’re living out of bags. I got a couple of these at Target for our trip and will be using them for every trip going forward. They’re chic, hold a lot, and are just $10!

Travel Jewelry Case

EVERYONE NEEDS THIS. Buy several and give them out to every female in your life! It is the perfect mini size jewelry organizer with enough room for hoops, studs, rings, and a few necklaces. I got the green and LOVE it!

Packing Cubes

I will never pack another suitcase without using these cubes again. They are game changing! Knowing exactly where your undies, t-shirts, and dresses are and not having to dig through your suitcase every time is wonderful. The only caveat: They’re not awesome for heavy packing, i.e. winter clothes. A few sweaters fill them up fast, so I’d reserve the bigger ones from thinner clothes when you can!

HP DeskJet All-In-One Wireless Printer

For barely $100, this is the gift that keeps on giving and takes all the stress out of having to figure out how you’re going to print stuff. I got it for my home office and it’s incredible—so simple, so easy to set up, and you can print from your computer, phone, iPad, etc. Gift this to your entrepreneur friend whose office is her home and her home is her office.

New Apple TV Remote

It took us way too long to switch out our old Apple TV remotes, but we finally did and wow. The Siri remote has such a better configuration, layout, features, etc. You can freakin’ mute your TV with this remote instead of pausing or frantically turning the volume down! It’s lovely. Consider gifting them a bright colored cover, too so they don’t lose it easily in the couch cushions.

Amazon Smart Plug

You can never have too many of these IMO. If you’re recipient is an Alexa device owner, this is a great gift to give them! They can turn lamps, fans, string lights, coffee makers, and so much more off and on with just a simple phrase, “Alexa, turn on coffee!”
